Last week I was in Bentonville...

Last week I was in Bentonville on business and had to stop in to Bottoms Up. I used to live in NWA so I knew what I was in for but I had to see if it had changed. The other reviews are pretty spot on as far as club condition. The place is run down, there isn't indoor plumbing, the chairs are broken at best, and the whole place feels dirty. That being said I like dive bars - and the girls are usually really hot.

On this visit I picked up a buddy and headed to Fayetteville. For those of you that aren't from the area it will feel unsafe due to the location but trust me it is very rare you will have an issue with safety anywhere in NWA - still lock your car. When we got there the lot was full but there are other businesses that surround it and close before Bottoms Up opens so I parked there. We went inside and paid the cover ($7 each) and got our hands stamped with a bingo dobber (hard to wash off - I wish it was something else) and got some ones. Be sure to get singles before you sit because this is where the best bang for your buck is. I have found the woman at the counter will give you 20 singles while the guy gives you 10-15 and 5's.

For anyone who hasn't been there - there are 2 stages. The girls dance on one then on the other then mingle or disappear. We plopped down on 2 torn up chairs by the stage they go to first - my chair didn't have a back. There was a bitchy girl dancing and she started putting her clothes back on as we sat. I usually tip at the rail so I threw out a dollar and she just snickered at it and stood there until the song was done. She is the only one that is really like that. It used to be you could get rubbed for a dollar at the rail now 1-2 dollars on the rail and you will get a mini lapper almost every time.
