OK, went to Jill's for the first time in about three years. It has changed in terms of appearance. The stage is shorter with more poles. The decor is cleaner, and overall it has a nice atmosphere. The wait staff are all attentive and friendly. From that standpoint, all was well.
Dancers dance on stage for three songs, one clothed, one topless, and finally bottomless. There is strictly no touching on stage. Dancers generally do not break the boundary between the stage and the tip rail. The DJ on both Friday and Saturday night was a female, an oddity for most strip clubs. And honestly, it was basically just play the song and introduce the next girl. No particular flair, which many club goers would be fine with. However, being a DJ myself, I am more critical of those who are generic. But it did not take away from the overal experience, so I shouldn't complain.
Oh, when we arrived the first night (Friday), the doorman radioed inside that he had a group of four out here, and shortly thereafter a bouncer came out to check us out. He asked who the DD was and who to talk to if we are a problem. Let me explain our group: two guys in their forties dressed in jeans and polos, a guy in his thirties in a suit and fedora, and a girl in her twenties in dark pants and a button down shirt. In other words, obvious troublemakers. After the paying the $7 cover, we were let inside, presumably with the bouncer watching our every move.
