I was in St. Louis for a meeting that ended early, and visited several ESL clubs: Penthouse Club, Hollywood, PT's Sports Bar, and Hustler. Overall, I'd say the Penthouse Club had the nicest physical layout and dancer quality. They had more of an upscale look.

This was my first visit to ESL. The main thing out of towners need to know is that a LOT of touching is allowed when the girls are on the stage. The girls will often take your hands and allow you to stroke their breasts, stomach, and legs. Some will also have the customer stand up and give kind of a doggy-style lap dance. This was pretty much true across all of the clubs. So I could see why ESL clubs are rated high if this is your thing.

The physical club layout is nice and the styling is similar to other Penthouse clubs. There's one main stage and two side stages. The dancers do one set one set on the stage; they don't rotate. There are chairs around each stage. There are two bars: a main one and one in the back. Then there are chairs kind of in a set of three tiers: the first near the main stage, the main floor, and then one raised off in the back. There's also a members-only room, which I didn't get to. Private dance booths are near the back to the left of the DJ. VIP rooms are to the right of the DJ. I only went to the private dance booths. They are a little cramped, but nice: a chair and two steps for the women to step on beside you.
