It has been many years since I have been to Augies Bourbon Street Cabaret. I used to frequent there quite a lot in 1960 - 1962. I hope to return soon. I was infatuated with this one red head stripper. I forgot her name. I believe she also tended bar at Augies after retiring from dancing? I know the bar has changed somewhat since I have been there. I also stopped one night in the spring of 1993. It was a little different from the 1960's but still the same bar with dancers on a platform over the bar. I think back in the 1960's they had a live combo playing behind the dancers. I hope to return soon.
