Cozy, saner alternative to Foxy Lady...
Cozy, saner alternative to Foxy Lady next door. I was prepared to take one for the team as the first reviewer, but I was pleasantly surprised. OK, there are the typical three things for a Victory Blvd black Club. $5 entrance fee, pat down, and Asian bartender requesting tips for service. What is WITH that? Club is about as typical as a strip club gets albeit in an about 30 x 100 room. Bar on the left, tables & chairs in the middle and stage to the back, Pool table at rear, small DJ, playing decent but not to loud danceable music. Right hand side has a small raised walkway, with chairs in front of the platform so can get an up close look at your $10 table dance. Dancers seemed friendly, no atitude cases, mostly 7/8's. Waitress introduced herself, asked my name and said "I'll be your waitress for the evening". It's before midnight so I'm not expecting anything much as straight laced as this town is. Instead, I found a slim dancer at a podium nearby shaking her thang sans g-string for tips, and had a good chat with another one by the bar. You can sit close and tip the girls on stage in their gstrings and tops. Private area dance is $20, I didn't partake so I'm not sure if you can get an actual lap dance b4 or after midnight. I'd give this place a serious solid thumbs up for being the most "like a normal strip club" place I've found in this "throw money on the floor in front of me and I'll pick it" and would you like a "TABLE dance" town. It's clean, it's not crazy crowded, not pushy with the posted "two drink minimum", it's feels safe, I saw a white couple come in, and I'd feel OK here if I wasn't a brother. If you're into the chocolate sisters, give this place a try. And check out the food truck parked in back, the smoked sausage is a perfect ending to the visual and auditory experience inside.
