Finally decided to stop by a couple of strip clubs on one of my periodic drives through northern Alabama. My understanding was that Huntsville clubs were higher contact than I'm comfortable with, and my limited experience is that this is true. However, the dancers I met seemed very nice, and that was a plus.

This club is easiest to spot if you look for the fireworks sign of the business next door; going south along Memorial Parkway you'll know you've gone to far if you cross the bridge, as I did the first time by. The club is really two clubs. One has a big stage, a bar, and pool tables. To get a dance you need to go next door. I think it's really the upstairs of the same building, but you have to go out the back door, with your dancer and an escort, and through a separate entrance. So it's an elaborate process and one that doesn't encourage the "let's get one dance then see how things go" approach I prefer. You get to the other location, and pay the escort for a room.

The options were two dances, five dances, half hour, and hour, with some of the money going to the dancer for the longer shows, but all going to the club for the two dance option. Consequently dancers expect a tip, since that's how they make money. It's a real time commitment on their part to go back with a guy, and they get little from the money you pay up front.
