I last visited the club a couple of years ago, and had fun a few times. However this Saturday was different, both because of the timing and long-term changes in the club itself.

First of all, it turned out that this was a weekend for Fiesta, which is a big celebration in San Antonio (something like Mardi Gras in New Orleans) so there were much fewer dancers than normal, as the girls were out partying. This initially mean also much fewer customers. Secondly, there was a big UFC fight that night which was being shown in the club so customers also went elsewhere. So, evidently I hit the club at a very bad time and much of its best talent was missing.

Second of all, there was significant change in policy. Previously, this club used to cater mostly to old wealthy white guys. It has a big upstairs which was a VIP club with yearly private membership ($1000 per year). You could also buy your way upstairs by buying a champagne bottom (about $150). When I previously went upstairs, there were few customers and it was a very relaxed comfortable atmosphere. There were many couches and booths also.
