From my past visits and others' reviews, I figured an afternoon hour spent at Delilah's would be a dependable way to get a quick dose of eye candy and maybe a pleasant lap dance or two. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I'm not writing it off -- I've been before with that mission in mind, albeit at night, and Delilah's satisfied, no problems. But today must have been an off day. Tried my hardest to count more than 3 girls. Only one was cute, but after her set, she seems to disappear to the back room. The second was occupied by a group of guys (good for her, and she was taking them back for lap dances one-by-one. The third was not my type at all (maybe a 5 or 6 of 10 by my estimation, but to each his own), and her opening line was "do you want a lapdance," and frankly, I almost always say no to that straightforwardness. (I guess I'm an old-fashioned kind of guy that wants to see if there's even an inkling of conversation that we can hold, even if it's all artifice.) Anyway, long story short, the NCAA b-ball games were more interesting (and the game they had on wasn't even close), and the most I can say is that the front desk girl was cool, the bartender was a looker (aren't they always?), and there was no cover, so nothing really lost. If I had actually come looking for more than just eye candy, I would have been even more disappointed. Good thing my expectations were low. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
