I don't get to Heartbreakers very...
I don't get to Heartbreakers very often because it's about 20 miles from Galveston so about 50 miles from where I live. So I only go there where I happen to visit Galveston that day. I hadn't been to the club for a couple of years at least, and while it has a lot of positives, the big negative is that the club runs a very tight ship and girls will be fired even if there is a hint of extras. My chief motivation tonight was I was returning from Galveston after helping out a friend and was quite hungry, not having eaten all day. I remembered that the food here is really good.
I got in about 9 pm on a Saturday evening, and paid about $6 cover. A waitress at the door greeted me and guided me to a table of my choice. There were many available as the club was pretty empty. There were about 20 to 30 customers but because of the huge size of this club, the club appears pretty empty with such a small crowd. First of all I noticed there they had made some major renovations. The wall between the front and back room has now been removed. They added a stage to the back room so there is now a total of 4 stages. Girls rotate by doing 2 songs on each stage. The back room is now the lap dance area, and there about 10 booths back there. The booths are very large and can easily hold 2 or 3 couples each. In fact, as the evening wore on, and the club filled up, people had to double up or more in most booths. Also, they have renovated the upstairs VIP area which costs an additional $25 to enter.
I ordered a shrimp kabob which turned out to be about a dozen large shrimp grilled on skewers with various vegetables. It was served with a large dinner salad, steamed vegetables, rice, and Texas toast. For $18, it was a good value and really delicious.
