Given its rural location, it would be laughable for most to say write that one decided to stop into the Trop while "passing by," but that's what I did on a recent Saturday. Since I wasn't planning on stopping, I wasn't financially prepared to take full advantage of any opportunities.

The quality of dancer at the Trop is always a mystery before coming in the door. Strangely, I've experienced some of the most beautiful women I've ever encountered in strip clubs at the Trop and been there other nights when I would sooner have paid the dances to put on clothes.

This night was better than average at the Trop. There were the standard fatties among the eight or so entertainers but most were on the right side of the attractiveness bell curve. As I ordered a drink, I was warmly greeted by curvy black gal. She assured me I would experience wonderfully exciting things should I take her VIP, entry into which -- as others have said -0 -- is purchased with a $10 wristband. When I asked for specifics, she said that was a conversation for behind the curtains but her wandering hands did suggest some enchantments. She quickly moved on when I made clear that was not on my agenda that night. I tipped and flirted with a couple more dancers at the bar before going to the stage when an older but firm blonde took the poll. It turned out to be the aforementioned Jessie. She was very attentive and affectionate as I tipped at stage, making me regret I didn't enter better prepared. She alone will prompt another visit.

The club has greatly improved with the state's tobacco ban. Restroom is of the concrete floor, chipwood walls variety, cleaner than might be expected but not some place to spend time.
