I arrived at the Frog at about 10:00 pm on Saturday. There was a $5.00 cover charge but you can usually find a coupon in the local paper for this. Nothing has changed from the physical description that others have commented on. It definitely lives up to the name rustic.
The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how loud the music was. While I loved there selection of classic rock it made conversation around the stage difficult. The second thing I noticed was the number of couples. I would guess that 1/4 of the patrons were couples. Some of the posts on here have painted this place as being frequented by a younger, rowdy crowd, this was not my experience. There was a mixed group of ages and backgrounds in the bar.
The dancers were also a mixed bag from thick to spinners (one seemed to be a contortionist on stage). However they were all young, white, and good looking. Also many of them seemed a little inexperienced which I found very refreshing. They kept a dancer on stage the entire time I was there with most of them going topless and thongs during the first song of their two song set. While they were topless they did cover their nipples. However they seem to only cover the nipple and on most dancers it was almost invisible (better than any of the Louisville clubs). While on stage the girls were very enthusiastic and creative in their appreciation of tips; imagine things like boobs in your face to legs wrapped all the way around your neck. The hustle factor was really low and it felt more like the dancers were flirting with you rather than just trying to drain your wallet.
