Went to Sugars on Saturday night...

Went to Sugars on Saturday night over Easter weekend around 11 pm. This was my first club visit outside of Ohio.

I was very taken aback by how it operates and is set up. There's a small entry way inside where you show ID and can then be buzzed in past the next door. The next room is sort of a small restaurant. It's $6 to enter the strip club. There's a small L-shaepd dance platform with seating both below and above it. It holds two dancers at a time, and if you're sitting at it, every dancer will expectantly hold open their money strap expecting a tip which I found presumptous though I often normally tip when sitting at the stage.

I expected the inside to be pretty terrible since this is a small town in West Virginia. However, it was actually very nice and classy inside. There appeared to be 8 girls on hand. It wasn't very busy at all. After dancing, the girls vanish in the back and don't come out to socialize or hit up customers for dances. Now, I don't like pushy dancers, but I started to find out this pretty irritating. I wondered what was going on. I eventually asked a dancer, and you have to prepay the bartender for a private dance (which is $20 per song). This leaves no room for negotiating as far as I could tell. There are also signs everywhere declaring no touching.
