One of my friends was in town and he always likes to go to the 5th. I let him convince me to visit last weekend, and was very disappointed-- but not surprised. I hadn't been there for quite a while and not much has changed. Same group of regular customers, mostly the same dancers-- maybe one or two new girls. I found the club to be pretty boring. Most dancers were overweight, not really attractive, mainly black. I saw 5-6 when I was there and was told there were a "few" backstage waiting to come on. Didn't see anyone who interested me.

My pal had a great time in the champagne room and opted for this after a few lap dances which he said were high contact. He picked one of the better-looking and friendlier dancers, one of the few who weren't tied up at the bar chatting with their regulars. Also, he likes his women a bit "chunky."

Club was dirty, drinks were cheap. I stayed for one $3 beer and left my friend there. Went to Mardi Gras. Much prettier women, more variety. Another review for another time...
