Silky's is under new ownership/management. So far I can't say that I'm a fan. The cover has gone up to $15 (from $10) after 9pm. It seems like most of the new dancers are coming from Rumorz in WV which is owned by the same guy. Silky's was never known for having the hottest dancers, and on average the new ones may be a litter hotter. However, they don't seem as friendly. They spend most of their time with the new thugish customers who aren't even buying dances. Silky's used to be my favorite place to chill with a few free beers, talk a little to the girls, tip at the stage, and get a few dances. It's not necessarily bad now, it just doesn't seem as laid back as it used to be. Supposedly Rumorz is/was a whore house, but so far I haven't experienced any more millage here than before.
