First thing off the bat, beer is only $3 a bottle. No one hounds you for drinks. The first sight you see is Laura the beautiful door girl. Inside there is a small stage and ample seating. Stage tipping is done by walking up to the stage..$1 bills are still acceptable. The talent on stage is available for seating , drinking or lap dances. Good conversationalists, all sorts and conditions of dancers. Music is unobjectionable at best. The dancers are good, all of them trying some sort of pole work with variety of success. VIP room is nothing special, 2 couches facing one another. The next room from the show room is a casino (North Dakota has allowed blackjack games for yeears), and downstairs is a bar called The Bomb Shelter, which opens at 4. The Northern will allow no one throuh its doors until 5 pm. I went on Tuesday, which has the added bonus of being Topless Tuesday. This applies to the waitresses. Only one was on duty and a visitor from Europe or Mars might wonder why only one person was topless. Good, entertaining, not at all threatening club. I would probably hazard another 150 miles to Fargo to visit this club rathr than 107 miles in the other direction to Minneapolis.
