When I came to visit NY...

When I came to visit NY all of my 20-something friends screamed that I should go to pumps, so on a lazy monday evening I decided to hit it up. It's in an industrial area like a half mile from the Grand St L train, not the most fun to walk to alone as a lady, but anyway. The bar is super tiny (unless there is a back area I don't know about) and it's a straight up dive. There were about three girls there with only one other customer. The set up totally destroys this club's potential - the bar is in front of the "stage" which is not elevated more than a foot, & just has three poles that girls dance on at the same time. It's not the boring Manhattan "gown swaying" - they dance - but the club itself is just unsavory. . . .
