I often get mixed results at Knockouts. This time things started out rather poorly. One of the things I like most about KO is that you can go there and quietly hang out for a while without being pestered or pressured into dances. I like to sit back for a while, tip the dancers on stage and then decide if I want a private dance, and usually KO is good about this. This time some oriental dancer (never could understand her name) came and spoiled most of that. She sat in my lap (uninvited) and started going on about how much I needed to get a dance from her. I declined politely at first, but she would not stop. I finally firmly told her that I was not interested so she said she would come back later. She did come back later and continued the harassment until I finally told her straight up to go away. She acted offended and asked for a tip for all of her troubles!

Anyway, once she was gone, I was able to see who else was there and found no one of interest so I was about to leave. But then the DJ announced that Cashmere was next on stage. I have had several dances from her in the past and she is always worth the wait and the money. So I tipped her on stage and asked her to see me after her dance. She did and off we went to the VIP. 5 fantastic dances later, I went home happy.

So KO has its upsides and its drawbacks, but I prefer it to TDs simply because it is much less formal and more comfortable, as long as you choose the right company.
