Crazy Horse Theatre is on Market Street between 5th and 6th Streets. Mid-Market as it's called has been less successful than the booming capitalism just a block away. But things are changing. Soon Twitter employees will work on the block and other upscale changes will be happening. Who knows whether Crazy Horse can survive. So you have to get there and enjoy it now.

I used to be out late and even close the clubs but in my 60s I prefer the 6-7 PM discount price of $15 admission. You get one hour left of the day shift and the beginning of the evening shift. It is never crowded at that hour. Typically there are more dancers than patrons. The dancers are bored and happy to see paying customers.

Dancers at Crazy Horse are impressive. There are many mixed race, Asian and Filipino dancers and, of course Caucasians. Some but not many black dancers. Lots of impressive physiques and stage show pizazz. The environment is more laid back than the DejaVu clubs. No drinks, just an old soda vending machine. Each dancers goes for three songs. Lots of front row seats for audience contact, tipping and mini-lap dances. While plans to renovate the place have been rumored for years, it hasn't happened. Recently the men's room was upgraded and private dance rooms built. But the theatre seats and lap dance room have not been improved for years. It's good that room is dim.
