I hadn't been in Jen's for a while, and wanted to see if the rumors about tighter rules after the visit from the health dept. were true. I would say to some extent, yes. It was about 4 p.m. and pretty dead. Jackie saw me and sidled right up. She's always has one of the hottest bodies there (even if she may be twice the age of some of the younger dancers), and she's always good for a $5 dance or two, but I never go into the VIP with her because her menu is so limited. But since the bar had twice as many dancers as customers, I was soon joined by Angela, a shorter dark-haired dancer who I had not met before. I bought her a drink and during the barside dances she did things that usually indicate fun to be had in the VIP. So we soon headed that way. She was fun, but said we couldn't get away with much there because of heightened surveillance. However, she offered to take care of me OTC and so off we went. It was reasonable and as promised, if a bit surreal.
