The clubs in the Denver area...

The clubs in the Denver area are much nicer than the one's I frequented back in Illinois. There are exceptions, however. It seems that clubs here are physically nicer, but are essentially the same game anywhere you go. Prostitution takes place at almost every club, no matter how "upscale"; it's only the price that changes. I have been to several "upscale" clubs since I've moved to Colorado including Diamond and La Boheme, as well as clubs I would consider to be of lower quality (e.g. Shotgun Willies, Penthouse and PT's). Much has changed at "The Gun" recently, as dancers have informed me. In my opinion, the new management needs to practice much more discretion in the contracting process for their "entertainers". Since the beginning of the year, Shotgun's has gone downhill, and is quickly becoming a whore-infested shithole that actually smells like shit (last couple of times I've gone I was propositioned for sex twice in the 2-3 hrs I stayed-both from girls who told me they were new there-a blond who called herself "Katie" and a brunette going by "Roxie"). This is a shame because this was my favorite dive club. I feel bad for the girls who still work there, but I must vouch for one of my favorite entertainers, Mona, whom I have known since before I moved to Colorado. I met her when she worked at the Penthouse in Illinois, and was surprised to see a negative post about her. She's never been hotter since she moved here, is continuing her graduate degree in Counseling, and continues to be one of the most unique, resilient, inspiring and fun people I have had the good fortune to get to know. The 3 years I've known Mona (though she danced under the name Kaya previously), she has had nothing but positive things to say about her personal life, has appeared to be doing well financially, has NEVER propositioned me for sex, and I believe she has no reason to do so, as she seems to have done very well for herself over the years she's been dancing. She is one of the most beautiful, glamorous, yet genuine people I have ever met in a strip club. Bar none. The recent posts about Mona obviously came from a disturbed individual who has become obsessed with her and is probably disgruntled because she rejected any sexual advances on his part. It's sad when club patrons use this helpful forum as a means to bad-mouth specific entertainers. Mona, my doll, you have nothing to worry about. You're a diamond in the rough. I'm looking forward to seeing you again at La Boheme, and so glad to hear you found a place more suitable for your classy, burlesque style.
