Read past reviews of this historic stop and had to check it out for myself. In summary, Playhouse Lounge is a topless, ~80% Brazillian, medium to high mileage, BYOB club. It features dancers rating 5-8, LD rooms with closed doors, large screen TVs, and a relaxing atmosphere.

The Playhouse is easy to get to on Rte. 130 and not far from I-295. Parking is free, in large well-lit lot. Area appears to be pretty safe. Cover was reasonable at $10 around 8pm. Received a wrist band for two free soft drinks.

The club is surprisingly small, for a joint with such an huge past reputation as a top 10 TUSCL-rated club for a number of years before a LE crackdown. The large, rectangular, 3-pole, main stage is surrounded by the bar and dominates the space in the facility. The $30/4 min. LD rooms, with closing doors, and $20/4 min. LD couches are at the back of the club. The LD area attendant announces the number of dances. The men's room is laughable in that it's a shared room without a lock, and the toilet is completely visible to the bar when the restroom door is open. The dancer DR is visible to bar patrons as well when that door is open.
