Very slow at first glance--only saw a few girls the night I was there (Monday, I think). I agree with all the recent reviews - there is a very different atmosphere here compared to Bourbon street. It is pretty quiet--not a long cab ride, but you will have to wait for a cab to come pick you up at the end of your night, since they aren't waiting outside for you here.

First dance or two was pretty lame with a below-average blonde who wasn't really into it. Back to the bar for another drink, and a lovely black girl came to sit with me. She was pretty, with a natural body, and I thought it might be fun to at least try a dance or two. Well, I ended up getting more like 4 or 5 dances, and it seemed like 10 or more. It was a very intense experience--we really "clicked". (Maybe every guy feels like that at some point in a club, or with a girl that is a good actress, but this seemed to be more than just acting. Maybe everyone thinks that? ) She never took her bottoms off, but let me touch all over her body and under her clothes completely. She was into kissing, which I find to be rare in a club, and it was deep and intense. She kept her hands out of my pants (fine with me, actually), but did a fair bit of touching and rubbing through my clothes, combined with plenty of grinding, so I left quite breathless and satisfied by the time we finished. I paid for the dances, plus a generous tip, as I usually do when a girl really seems to love it and lets me touch a lot. I guess she expected quite a bit less, since she started gushing about how thankful she was for the extra $$. Maybe I should have asked for a bit of cash back? I would LOVE to run into her again some day, but I doubt I'll be back in NOLA anytime soon.
