monday afternoon and had some before I needed to be in Durham. tuscl ratings indicate that this is the place to be in these parts. dance prices have risen to $40. there is friction but that's a real high burn rate. there were about 5 girls in the lounge while I was there. the two I wanted to chat with each came by. the first was an NC country girl, around an 8. good dance (two actually). not surprisingly, there was no staying for chit chat afterwards. the second was around a 7--super sweet and fun to talk to. but when you drop $85 and $45 (yes, I tip) that fast, the real brain takes over and gets you out of the place. With a beer, I must have burned $140 in 30-40 min. the talent is not too happy with the higher dance prices. i suspect they make their money when the DJ calls out 2 for 1 time. this did not happen on my short trip.
