Stopped in to PH on a...

Stopped in to PH on a Wednesday just before shift change. Figured that I would get a look at twice the talent. PH became the top of the top in attractive dancers in Detroit. Unfortunately what I saw on both shifts was disappointing. In total there must have been 30 plus girls on stage at the review song when the shift was changing from day to night. Out of the 30 girls the majority had extensive tattoos, and when I say extensive I mean that as much as 20 to 30% of the girl's torso was covered. I don't mind tattoos per se, but when the amount of ink or even the subject becomes overwhelming it takes away from the woman's appearance. One girl in particular stood out. She was tall, brunette with an otherwise attractive body. But she has some kind of floral pattern that ran up her spine. It was ornate, large and unless I was close to her it looked like something you'd see on a character on SciFi channel. Another girl had extensive writing tattoo'd on her side from hip to armpit. Years ago the dancers had to cover up tattoos to work at Trumpps, today it seems like you have to have too many to work the pole. Beyond the tattoos, there were several dancers that were really out of shape, like 15 to 30 lbs overweight for their size.

I stayed for about an hour, drank two bottles of beer and left. It may have just been how the stars lined up that night but overall the view was a C+ to a B- in my opinion. PH is beautiful inside, the staff is nice, and the physical building has that upscale Vegas feel, but the talent that night looked like they came from a biker rally rather then the pages of the well-known men's magazine.
