I went to Wackos after a disappointing afternoon visit to a nearby club. The club was not packed, but did have a moderate sized crowd and about 12 dancers. No cover at 4 pm and the mixed drinks were less than $5. The club has a large bar to the left and a main stage and a smaller stage. Dancers start on main stage and then rotate to smaller stage. Very few people seem to tip the dancers on stage, and most customers seem to sit at the bar or in the booths near the bar. There are many tables near the main stage, but seems to be the last seats occupied. Most dancers are friendly and sit at tables or at the bar talking with customers.

The lap dances all seem to take place in a back room, which is recently remodeled. The back room now has individual booths, but only the ones in the corners seem to have much privacy. During the day there was no charge to go into the room. It was also empty, so the privacy increased. The dances are $30, which seems high to me, but also seems to be close to the going rate in Jacksonville. The dance quality is very good with lots of contact and more menu choices for an additional tip.

Overall, I enjoy Wackos very much and always have a very good time there. This time was no exception. Decent women, good mileage, affordable drinks. I don't love the redo of the back room, but as long as there are few people and the corner booths open, it can be a very good experience.
