I was in Vegas for a convention a couple weeks ago and me and some friends got bored one evening, so after driving around for a while avoiding the usual Vegas traps I announced to my friends that I was taking them "slumming. " And with that I drove them to Platinum, a block or so off the strip on Flamingo, the least elegant strip club in Sin City. We no sooner walked in than we were greeted by some of our business associates, and the party was on!

Platinum is for the guys who aren't all caught up in the glitz of Vegas, looking to blow all their money on the intangible illusion. It's for the guys who want to smoke, drink affordable drinks, check out the (mediocre) dancers and hoot it up. Platinum is a little club you can walk to from your hotel. They have a few hot dancers, mostly not, but no ugly ones. I recommend this club to the normal guys, not the dreamers. Go there, have a few drinks, get a couple laps, and don't get ripped off by the scammers and hustlers at the big three - Sapphire, Treasures, and Spearmint Rhino. I've been to all those. LOTS of times. Your odds are better at the gaming tables than at those big clubs. Platinum is a good time, for the nights when you've had a tough day at the convention center and want to get back to reality.
