Archibald's has become a regular haunt for my occasional "90 minute vacations" from the office. Other reviews describe the physical plant well--in a safe section of the busy K Street corridor, close to upscale hotels including the Hilton and the St. Regis; a small, long and narrow interior with a bar running the entire length of the club. Two stages, no poles. As a longtime DC resident, my expectations are in line with the rules (no contact, no VIP, no private dances). The dancers are a little younger than those at Camelot, but seem to be friendlier and more approachable. Most are in the 7-8 range, with a mix of ethnicities,

Visiting regularly makes it easier developing a rapport with certain dancers, but today I met three mew dancers who were very personable. The club has a decent lunch business, then empties out until happy hour; mid-afternoon, it's the "land of the bored dancers," which can be fun if you have the right attitude. Bartender and waitress are friendly and efficient. Overall, Archibald's is a comfortable local joint with the added benefit of naked women.
