While visiting Chicago, I checked out Admirals. Admittedly, I was planning to go to VIPs but I was with a friend who was 18 so this was the only club available. I have heard mixed reviews but this is quite a Chicago classic. It is 18+, no alcohol and open until 6AM which is kind of cool. We walked in and payed the $25 cover charge sometime close to 1AM. I spoke to a bouncer because 60% of the club seemed to be VIP seating, which were the comfy sofa-type seats. He said "pay whatever" and I'll get you up there, so I gave him $20 for our group of 4. At $5 a person, I thought it was fair, though you could give whatever you wanted essentially. Once we sat down, we were given a table and a few chairs. You're technically supposed to get one drink (non alcoholic of course), but they don't really enforce it (at least in the VIP area). The drinks are like $6-7 for a soda so it is somewhat expensive, though it is Chicago and a strip club in general so you have to expect inflated prices. In VIP, the girls come up to you semi-frequently. A lot of the girls are masseuses that charge $10 for a decent massage with/without lotion. I partook in a few but after a while they get repetitive. The lap dances are $20-25 (forgot which one - sorry!) a piece and they usually do them right there are the chair where you are sitting or at a large sofa in the back. Mileage is average, generally full nude. A lot of the girls are not my type, but I saw a few 7+ and an occasional 8-9. They have a $75/3 song "special" which is worth it if you are planning to buy three lap dances. They take you into a private room with curtains and the mileage is better inside, you can talk a bit and it is a better vibe. Overall though, even with the rooms the mileage here is just OK. It exceeded my expectations and if I ever visit I may return, but I am curious to check out the other clubs in Chicago as well (my time was limited on this trip). All in all, and despite its large size and nice decor, it is alright value and just an average strip club for me.
