I didn't really experience this club fully but this review is based on the value of the happy hour. It's a great value. For $5/drink you can get a ton of drinks, including LITs and Black Label. These are quite nice deals, especially for NYC (and even for Pittsburgh where I live). A friend and I entered the club and definitely took advantage of the happy hour. The bartender was very sweet and made the drinks strong. I usually prefer it that way, but for $5 I somewhat expected them to be watered down. This is not the case. I did glance over and at 7PM when we went the club wasn't super packed. There weren't very many girls on shift, but they were decent looking. 6-7 was the average here at the time. My friend who has gotten dances here before told me the mileage was decent but definitely nothing special. In terms of the happy hour, this place gets five stars. The actual atmosphere isn't too bad either. Also, none of the girls (there weren't many on shift - probably like 5-10 at the time) were pushy at all so that is great. If you're looking for a place to pregame and enjoy a strip club setting without spending too much money on drinks, come to Sapphire. The happy hour runs 6-8.
