I was happy to see this...

I was happy to see this club transition to a Spearmint Rhino, after going when it was Sarie's. I thought that when it was Sarie's that it had lots of potential and that the management was dropping the ball. We'll see what this new chapter brings, however. Jury is still out.

I stopped in on an early Saturday night. Shift change was at 7, so it was intriguing and frustrating to see girls in civilian clothes walking through with their stripper bags. Some were coming and some were going and some you weren't sure. When I first arrived, there were about 5 guys in there and about 8 girls. Only about 2 were enhanced, but the natural girls were very small. Lots of tats and some were very skinny. A couple were carrying more weight than they should have. Was approached by a larger blonde who perfected a blank stare as her main mode of communication. I'll chock it up as a minor hearing loss on her part rather than being dumber than a post. It was $10 to get into the liquor side and they charge $15 to get into the BYOB side, but they didn't have any dancers on the BYOB side at the time. Lappers are $25 per song. It was a bikini bar, mostly, on both sides. A few of the girls didn't take off their tops on stage. The ones that did had the metallic Xs of tape covering the nipples.

Talent got a bit better after shift change, with the addition of a cute blonde with bolt-ons and a couple of brunette spinners with naturals. Talked with another who had an engaging personality, but her body type was not my style. Had only a short window of time, but needed to see more enthusiasm and sexiness to warrant dropping money for lappers. My guess is that they would have been pretty tame and they were monitored closely. Management was good (door dude was pleasant and bouncer circulated), but service was nonexistent. Went to the bar and was ignored. Was never waited on at the table. A couple of the dancers banged the stripper shoes together on stage as their move-still don't get that one, after all these years.
