Toured the NJ Rte 35 clubs...

Toured the NJ Rte 35 clubs recently and stopped into Black Betty's. In short, was there for about 10 minutes around 10 pm on a Saturday evening, just long enough to down a diet coke and get out of there. Outside, the place, despite being in decent area, isn't fixed up at all. Thank goodness there wasn't a cover charge. It's a typical stage surrounded by bar set up. I ordered a soft drink, but as soon as I saw the puggly dancers, put my coat back on and was ready to jet. Not a fun environment at all. Might be cool local joint for checking out games on large TV monitors. Definitely will not be going back.
