For the last year the Ritz has been my preferred club to visit and have fun. The place is awkwardly located at the corner of I-45 and Clearbrook, which can make it a bit of a hassle to get into. If you come in the official entrance then it's valet parking. If you drive 50 yards down Clearbrook then you can get in the back and park yourself. Once inside the place is a pretty typical SC with tables and a bar. It is showing its age and is a little bit worn, but it doesn't make you want to get a shower just because you stepped into the place. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, although the waitresses sometimes seem more interested in managing their social lives than in managing the patrons' needs. But all that can be overlooked with the experiences available. I should mention also that even though the club is within the Houston city limits and subject to the no smoking ordinance the managers have been rather lax in their enforcement recently.

The dancers come in all shapes and sizes and attitudes and available options. I have met some truly wonderful ladies in there. I've also met some real bitches and some total whores. But fortunately there are more of the nice ones than the latter. Thee are few awesomely gorgeous babes and a few dogs, but mostly mid-range girl-next-door types. Most of the girls are very friendly and not pushy. They will generally spend some time in conversation with you before asking for a dance. That allows you to do a preliminary evaluation of their personality and make a somewhat informed guess as to whether you really want to spend your time and money on them. The girls also come with a full range of available options from no-touch lap dances to anything you want.

I highly recommend the VIP membership. I think they advertise a lifetime membership for $799, but I found that to be negotiable. The membership gives you free admission and free access to the champagne and VIP areas. I really like the VIP area. It's upstairs,, very spacious, nicely lit, and has a complete bar and about 6 or 8 private booths. The booths are not totally closed off, but it's private enough to do whatever you want without fear of others watching. Each booth has a small table and a large sofa suitable for all sorts of fun. The champagne room on the other hand is very dark with only about a half dozen small three-sided booths and small sofas. It's not much fun trying to find your cell phone and the lady's clothing in near pitch dark when your playtime is over.
