I seem to recall that the last time I was in this place many years ago, I promised myself that I wouldn't return. But I was stuck in Madison for a few days for work, and staying just down the street from Visions, so I gave in to the temptation and broke my promise. I should have been stronger. Its essentially unchanged since I was last there-- a bit dingy, tired-looking, worn out. Parking is completely inadequate--maybe 8-10 parking spaces total. Cover was reasonable-- $7 - 10. There is one raised stage and a small floor stage that some of the girls used for part of their sets. The place has a comfortable feel, something between a neighborhood establishment and a biker bar. Lots of the patrons seemed to be locals and regulars. There were about 7 or 8 girls working on a Monday night. A couple were maybe 8's, but that might be generous. The rest more in the 6-7 range. I spent most of my time at the bar, away from the stage, and was finally joined by one of the more attractive girls. She was fairly new to the club, and not very conversational, but I was patient and she eventually warmed up. I tipped her on stage and finally got some private dances from her. The VIP area, such as it is, is a few rooms with half doors (like old west saloon doors) a couch, and lots of mirrors. Kinda weird. The private dances were enthusiastic but mechanical. No touching allowed at all. I think I'm going to go back to my original plan, and this time, I will keep my promise to myself.
