Seeing as how there hasn't been...
Seeing as how there hasn't been a review of this place for years, I thought I'd go check this place out and give a more up to date review of the place.
I was on the way home from work and took a little extended detour to check this place out. Call me crazy, but I'd rather not run into anyone I know while making solo trips to the strip joints, so going a little out of my way to find nice spots are no bother. Now this place looks like your typical dive bar from the outside, as in bad paint job and run down looking place. It's in, for lack of a better word, a Hispanic part of town.
I parked in the lot and walked in the main door, which is in the back, so you don't have to do that awkward walk to the street side to go in. After a short corridor, there's the DJ booth to the left. Immediately after that is the main stage/rack with a pole. Along the back wall to the right is the bar, whereas the opposite side houses pool tables and the private dance area, which looks to be only covered by the tacky '70's beaded curtains. Across from the entrance is video poker. Given the time and area, I figure it's the typical crowd tonight. A mix of young black and Hispanic men, mostly all at the video poker machines, and some old guys at the bar, watching the game.
