The Silver Cricket is located on...

The Silver Cricket is located on the south side of Michigan Avenue, between Beech-Daly Rd and Telegraph Rd, but you cannot get in the doors facing Michigan Avenue. You need to drive south on the little side street beside the club (Cambridge St) to the back of the club to find the parking lot and entrance.

The club was dead when I arrived around 3PM. There were only 5 or 6 dancers and 4 customers. The dancers ranged from 5 to 7, and they were sitting around talking to each other. I drank a quick beer before any girl approached me, and she wasn't my type. I had another beer, and then a blonde came over and sat down. She was OK but nothing special. Out of boredom, I accepted her offer for a dance but told her I wanted only one. In VIP she took off her top but then said I could not touch her titties because I was only getting one dance. WTF! Touching the titties is practically required in Detroit clubs. When the one dance was over she tried to charge me for two, but I told her no way. Did she really think she could con me into paying double for one lame dance?

I was not impressed by the Silver Cricket. It did not have enough attractive dancers nor did it have a party atmosphere (although it might get better at night). There are certainly better strip clubs along Michigan Avenue.
