Spiralling in the wrong direction...

I visit NJ once per month, and generally stop in Spotlights. It has been trending downward consistently for six months now, and has hopefully hit bottom.

I walked into to an empty bar (as it has been the past three times I visited). There was one dancer eating at the end of the bar, who reluctantly got on stage - but continued to finish her meal as she "danced." Finally, the bartender emerged from the depths of somewhere, and in an annoyed and unfriendly fashion served me a beer. Considering that she was attractive, I tried to strike up a conversation so that I had a reason to focus on something besides the dancer who was butt ugly. The kind of ugly that scares you every time she turned around. The bartender ignored me and went back to the end of the bar (as far away from me as possible) and started to read a book.
