First off, while Club Harem was closed for awhile, it's very much back open these days. On the way home from my friends' place I decided I'd stop in and check it out. If I had to describe Club Harem in one word, it'd be "Lawless". This is the type of place where if you walked in the door, knew a couple people and greased the right palms I'm confident you could get away with murder.

Lets start with the club itself. Upon entering there's a L shaped bar straight ahead (with a hallway leading to the restrooms and changing rooms for the girls, and two rooms, one on either side, each with a circular stage with a single pole. The blue room on the left features bar stools and counters, while the red room on the right feature couches (with no counter space), so there are some pros and cons there. The club wasn't quite a dive, yet, but it's going in that direction (and I thought they'd done some improvement while it was closed). Drinks were served in cheap, clear plastic cups, and I don't know if that was the club trying to save some money or a safety concern. I normally wouldn't even think about safety being that high of a priority, but there's a guy patting everyone down on entry to remind you you're going to a black club in a bad neighborhood.

Drinks from the bar were fairly priced, although given the look of the place I was expecting it to be cheap. Dance Prices were pretty standard for the area...but I'm sure that could be negotiated if you were creative and determined.
