I've been to Penthouse a number of times, its the second club I've visited in the area since moving here. Its a decent venue, not the worst place but definitely not the nicest. Value wise definitely not the greatest spot, however like most places in Detroit its all about negotiation. Surprisingly I've never had to pay cover, the valet charges are annoying but at the same time there's not really any street options nor would I suggest it. Dance costs are confusing, you can get told $20 by some and $25 by others, same thing goes for drinks (which are EXPENSIVE!). They will try to nickle and dime you, its annoying.
