If Tootie's is a '10' can this be an '8'?? Perhaps Sonny's BBQ is an '8' among roadside BBQ, and Ruth's Chris is a '10' among steakhouses. No one would seriously rate or compare the two together. Angels is a 'Sonny's BBQ' of stripclubs in class by itself, but deserves respect. If you're looking for neon lights and Playmate class women, etc., then this club is not for you. If either: a) you are black and you like black women; or b) you're not black and you like women (including black women) then this club could indeed before you. I am the latter and was the only white guy there. I felt a little out of place because culturally this is not just a club with black women, it is a black club. I.e., way *too* loud DMX type rap blasting, more focus on the game of 8 ball than women, Hennessy poster behind the bar, and whatever the video poker type game is that you see at every black club (at least two on the bar). The nonetheless I spent $40 2.5 hours (may be $50 max) and got a TOE CURLING set of lapdances from (I think) a dancer named Angel. The only caveat is that it *took* 2 hours to get a lapdance. It seems to be the last thing on everyone's mind. But I had a great time and didn't feel too much like I was out of place. I would go back anytime and love $5 table dances and $10 lapdances -- was MUCH MUCH MUCH better than Take One Lounge (which I actually like, but won't go again if I can make it to Angels)
