I visited the Penthouse throughout the Summer and early fall, usually during weeknights so I can't comment on its weekend atmosphere. Unfortunately, the place has really died out during the week. There were rarely more than 10 patrons and usually around 10-15 dancers.

Most of the dancers are mediocre looking with a few lookers on a good night. However, I think most of the talent is sticking to the Sundowner (owned by the same people). Speaking to the dancers at the Downer, it seems that the Penthouse is becoming the purgatory where you don't want to be sent.

The dances I've gotten have been good not fantastic. If you're looking for extras the place is more miss than hit.
