Came here on a recent Tuesday...
Came here on a recent Tuesday evening with a female friend. She had been here pre-renovations, and said the club had previously looked like a "basement." I hadn't seen it then, but I can say that it's a pretty nice looking club now, with cushioned chairs and couches and also nice little tables. There is a main stage (with two poles) and two satellite stages; only the main stage was occupied during our visit. Dancers worked the stage in sets of two (dancers get fully nude), with about six girls in the rotation during the 8 p.m. hour. Most of the girls were petite and natural (all were black), and there was one with fake tits and a fake ass. The dancers seemed fairly friendly. We sat at a table in an elevated section just next to the stage, and would reach over the railing to tip $1's. Most of the dancers also circled the room to say hi and solicit extra tips after their sets. It was all in all a very relaxed setting at that hour, and we enjoyed ourselves. Drinks were very reasonable, about $5 for hard liquor - and they were strong (not at all watered down)! I believe lap dances are available here in the small upstairs area, but I didn't ask or partake. Though it goes without saying that the limitations in D.C. clubs are always sucky, The House is not a half-bad place to just chill and have a few drinks while checking out some dark-skinned naked ladies.
