I was in the club Thursday...

I was in the club Thursday afternoon, 11/8/2012, between 3:30 and 4:45 p.m. As I entered it appeared that the deejay triples as cashier and waiter. Drinks are still served in 12-oz. cans. Seven dancers were on shift. I was one of four customers. It no longer looks like it's still under remodeling. That appears to be complete. The decor has improved since my last trip there, a year ago. There was no improvement in the lone single sex restroom, but at least it was clean. Its awful choice of colors, materials and finishes probably gives it a "dirty" look as some have complained. The lack of designated parking may have been resolved as well. I noticed that the parking on both the north and south sides of the building no longer specifies particular businesses for which the parking is intended.

At and next to the stage, some new finishes and surfaces have been completed. So that area looks complete now. The two lap dance areas are now nicely appointed with red velvet upholstered booths with high backs and sides (a la Jiggles). They're about as private as lap dance booths get in the Puget Sound Region. The front lap dance area is for $20. dances and is open to view from the main floor of the club. The VIP room is in the rear and offers only a little more privacy for $40. per dance. I found little difference between the two to pay the extra money for the VIP, so I opted for $20. dances and had a good time with the dancer I came to see.

I went specifically to meet a dancer for the first time who is also a TUSCL member, and she was great to meet after reading her postings and PMs for a few months now. All of the seven dancers there were slim. They were white, Hispanic, and one African American among them. One was rather persistent in approaching me three times in ten minutes for dances. I don't think she was native English speaking, but after all, what part of "no dances" couldn't she understand?
