Now that I'm in San Diego, I've had a chance to go here.

Easy as hell to get here. Once you cross the border, pay a taxi $5 (or bargain to $3-4 if you're a cheapass) and say Adelita's. Insist they take you here. Or the Hong Kong, they're on the same block.

Go in, buy a beer, tip the dude $1 if he opens the bottle at your table. If he doesn't, make him bring a new beer. Count your change.
