I travel to San Diego for business sometimes, and the Cheetah is and has always been the best spot in SD to see some pretty girls and get a lap dance. I had not been back since the remodeling and I think the club is now cleaner and overall nicer inside than ever. On the up side, the place looks great, the girls on shift were quite attractive, and the dances were as good or better than ever. On the down side, it seems like the hassle factor has cranked up even more. I always remember being hounded for a dance by dancers walking around, but on this visit it was ridiculous. I don't think I had a minute alone for the first 15 minutes I was in the club, and all I wanted to do is watch the stage show and chill out for a minute. I did finally cave in and got a great LD on the 5/100 plan in the back from a very inspiring hottie. Don't let the prices here scare you because I found that there is quite a bit of negotiating that can be done and I ended up with a much better deal than that. Songs here are still 3min or less, so even a 5-song deal is only 10-15 min in the room. One other thing I found this time was the more overt negotiating and bargaining. I felt like I was being sold a car or stereo by some of the girls who would offer this or that for this much or that much. Nothing illegal, just a lot of bargaining and talking to try and get me to go back and get a LD -- which does not necessarily set the right mood. I would rather find a girl physically attractive, discuss the fees, chit chat to set the mood, then go back. Rather than start off with "Hi baby. My name is Sue and here is what I can offer you today." That was a big turn off for me. But overall, still the best place in SD for nekked babes and LDs and I will stop back again.
