I was visiting on business from Houston, so I was eager to see how Toronto clubs stacked up against the legendary high-mileage Houston ones.

The Brass Rail was easy to find. It has large signs on one of their main streets downtown (Yonge Street). There was a parking lot behind the club that charged $3 per evening, but it's pretty small and run-down. There's a much nicer new parking structure next door that charged $6 all night. This I found was actually quite reasonable for downtown Toronto.

To enter the Upper Brass, you can climb a steep set of stairs from the back alley, or enter the Brass Rail first and then climb an internal set of stairs. Once inside, you pay a $20 cover.
