Went to Archie's on a Thurs. afternoon. I like this place - best value in a safe, respectable area in DC.

$7 to $10 for a glass of wine - what you would pay in a restaurant.

Certainly a variety of dancers: white, dark, asian, ... and all young and good looking. Never any over the hill or overweight dancers who you wish would just get off the stage.

They're on stage for a three-to four song set, then sit and chat up the regulars or the ones who look like they have $$$ they're looking to get rid of. They'll greet you and thank you for coming when they come offstage and hope you'll give them a tip when they do that.

Not unusual to see three dancers hanging onto a seventy-something customer who's buying drinks for all of them. Business casual dress is the norm here, but during the day you can see some jeans/t-shirts on a few of the customers (construction workers on lunch break).
