First time at Sapphires. Very impressed...

First time at Sapphires. Very impressed I must say. The place is huge and the super tall ceilings only reinforces that feeling. Walking in I felt I was in a warehouse but once you get into the whole vibe, it feels more like a nightclub. The tall ceilings had one major benefit--there was a lot of smoking in that club compared to others I've been to and it didn't feel smokey, so that's a plus.

Walking into the club, it's like Disneyland. You have the solid doors, so you don't know what's inside. You walk down a decorated hallway, and the artwork and sculptures (naked female bodies) on the wall start getting you thinking about what's inside, as you get further into the place. Cover was a crazy $33 (non-local)!! (side note--I didn't know NV charges a 10% entertainment fee on top of tax at these clubs, so the $33 is $28+tax=30+$3=$33). Wish they at least gave a drink coupon with that or a free lap dance, geez. Once you're in, you see the massive first room, main stage in the center, with the glass staircase leading up from it, and bar is to your left. The main floor is sunken so watch your step coming in. The bar is elevated. If you get a seat along the wall in the bar area, you have a great view of the whole place. The night I was there the second half of the bar was closed as it wasn't crazy busy. However, as a comparison--this main floor area felt bigger than CH3's entire main floor.

Dancers were a wide mix, which I prefer. Not Rhino for sure as there were slightly older dancers, not in a bad way, just not all 21-24 y.o., and noticeably more international dancers such as Russian, Brazilian. The crowd that night, guy-wise, was also more international than other places. Lots of groups, and lots of couples getting their freak on (one couple sat next to me and wife was all good with hubby getting his feel on during a lap dance--she was all smiles--nice).
