ControVerSy has only been open for...
ControVerSy has only been open for a couple of weeks. It's a small building and it was gutted and rebuilt as a strip club. The remodeling isn't completely finished, they're using a ladder leaning against the wall to get up to the DJ booth, but all that's left is some finishing touches like that. They did a nice job. Tile floors, tile walls, automatic sinks and soap dispensers, comfortable chairs, etc. I didn't see any cameras or a video monitor for cameras and I looked. They may have them, the ceiling is very high and it's painted black so it was hard to make out details of what was on the ceiling.
The night that I was there there wasn't a cover charge. They are going to have a cover charge, the entrance has a cashier's booth, but they're trying to attract customers for the first couple of weeks. There is a $5 fee for the valet parking and there isn't any other good choice for parking.
The club does not serve food and is a smoking club. It's small and the ventilation isn't the greatest so after a couple of hours there was a haze of cigarette smoke in the air. They don't have a license to sell alcohol, although they are in the process of applying for one. For now all drinks are free and they have top shelf liquor which they serve in the VIP rooms.
