I was recently in NOLA for work over a couple of months. I visited a few places and found none to compare with Visions. The staff and dancers were quite friendly. The outside is well lit and felt quite safe even though the area left a bit to be desired. Inside the club was ok, nothing upscale, just a good neighborhood feel. Dancers walk/dance the bar top and expect tips if you're at the bar, although you can choose to stand elsewhere. I actually won a few bucks. There are three dance options. One is a somewhat common area separate from the bar, one is a private area with individual dance areas with a bit of privacy, and one is there VIP which I understand if fully private but quite pricey. Go for the individual dance areas. Two bonuses: 1) there are four slot machines. 2) there is a bar-b-que guy outside at night with a grill on wheels that makes some awesome food.
