Friday noon visit this time and it was busy when I first walked in. I asked for Briana again as my waitress- cute little blonde, 19 years old and really good at taking care of you! I have been sitting by the last stage (over to the left as you go in) on the last few visits. Unless the upstairs stage is in use, this is the last stage the dancers use on their three stage circuit of the room. I usually st close enough to the stage to tip without getting up from my lunch, to enjoy the view, and a chance to chat them up as they are coming off rotation. The really hot, busy ones are sometimes best approached this way, otherwise they tend to stay with their regulars, and you never get a shot at dances with them. Is it just me, or do the medium quality looking dancers give the best dances? I'm saying the 6-7's? The 8,9,10s generally are busy with their regulars anyway, but the best times I've had here were with the slightly older (say late 20's early 30's) and slightly less perfect specimens. I prefer St. James private dance rooms to the open area at Ricks. First of all its much darker in there and second the extra chair is placed in the doorway to alert others that the room is occupied. Another option for a little bit more privacy, is to go upstairs to the rooms up there. Some days you have the whole upper floor to yourself, and that can result in some fun times. Over all I would say the girls here during the day are on average of a higher standard (looks wise) than at the other two clubs I've visited since moving here. (Splendors and Ricks) They still give good quality dances and depending on the lady, there can be sweaty good fun if you approach her right. $195 for VIP access? During the day? C'mon! No thanks! I'd rather see the dancer get that money anyway.... I've had very good food here, btw and Briana remembers how I like my martinis now (she is such a sweety!!), so I'll say this is my favorite club here in Houston so far.
